Athena Authentic Creations is operated by Vanessa Elizabeth Brown, trading as Athena Authentic Creations, based in Strand, Western Cape, South Africa.

Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to place an order on this site. If you are under 18, you may place an order with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

Products & pricing

All products are handmade, and as such, minor variations in colour, size, and texture between the item pictured and the item received are normal and not considered faults. Prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes. We are not VAT registered. We reserve the right to change prices at any time; the price charged will always be the price displayed at the time your order is placed.

Orders & payment

Orders for ready-made items are placed and paid for through our website via Payfast. Custom orders are arranged directly via WhatsApp, quoted individually, and require a 50% deposit before work begins — see our Refunds, Returns & Cancellations Policy for full details.

Custom commissions

Custom pieces are made at the customer's request and based on the customer's own reference images or descriptions. The customer is responsible for ensuring they have the right to request reproduction of any image, character, or design they provide. Athena Authentic Creations does not claim ownership over third-party characters or designs referenced in custom commissions.

Intellectual property

All original designs, product photography, and branding on this site are the intellectual property of Athena Authentic Creations and may not be reproduced or used without permission.

Limitation of liability

While we take care in creating and packaging every item, we are not liable for damage, loss, or delay caused by couriers once an item has been dispatched. Our liability in all cases is limited to the value of the order.

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
